Yep, it has been mentioned 3 times specifically. As a very young boy, when he was getting Kevin/Kate out of trouble with the cop, and when talking with Rebecca.

Loved Cat Stevens at the end. I grew up in the '70s and from the first guitar chords I knew what song it was and how well it fit. All along, the music on this show has really complemented the writing, which has been uneven. But when both the writing and the music are great, I remember why I've stuck with the show for six years.

He's being personally courted by the retiring Senator from PA (they are still in Philly, right?) to run for the Senate. I'm more surprised he has that confidence because that's not really a trait I really associate with Randall, who went temporarily blind from his anxiety once.

But maybe he's become more self-aware of his own abilities and strengths? He was in therapy at one point - maybe that helped?

I thought it was fascinating that he quietly told Rebecca that - that she was the only one he felt he could share that with.
