Why will they be with the higher grade? Is the school cut off date that late, or are they pretty advanced in school?
As you like to say, it's called reality. There is no perfect system with one grade unless you make it full GY.
Completely untrue...
SY with Aug birthdays playing up with their grade is almost like GY. The only players that arent allowed to roster are the very few school districts that start in July and the kids parents hold back in school so they're the biggest on sports teams. These kids cant play on the correct grade in school team. Everyone else can.
You're in denial. It's probably because the NJ posters are also challenging you, including people saying how those clubs who will "try" to align by grade really aren't.
Wow, what are you talking about?
There's a new thread over on Talking Soccer NJ ... Aug guy/or someone with strikingly similar views is getting similar pushback there. At one point, he/she even references our lengthy thread here and how there's a whole grand cabal trying to convince Aug parents that playing on age is OK.
I just looked at New Jersey TS and what you're describing is not true. In fact there appears to be several people saying your posts are ridiculous. Which makes sense considering cutoff dates are late Sept and even into Nov in the NE. Meaning the amount of "August" players they have to deal with would be 2x or even 3x more than around here. It would be impossible to try and manage them all one by one you'd have to relay a single statement that everyone would abide by.
Yeah, and what they're saying it's all going to be by age, with limited exceptions. When Aug guy starts rattling off the clubs who say they'll try to align by grade, poster at one club said they're not really doing it. It's more like all talk. For example:
"Reality is whatever makes the best teams is what the clubs will do.
Match Fit in one breath says they will align or try to align by grade but a little further down the page and around the corner it says it will be discussed by coach and directors."
Directly from NJ TS...
"Literally MF, PSA, PF, Copa all indicated either on website or publicly on video that they plan to group August September birthdays on their grade in school team."
And it's directly challenged by someone who says they are at one of those clubs, but OK (more back and forth on that earlier in the thread in fact).
Theres no "challenge" its all you commenting and trying to keep your delusion from falling appart.
And it's not me. Never commented there once. Just like here you think it's 1 person when it's multiple people. Oh well.
You lie constantly nobody believes you.
Just you -- which is unfortunate because I'm telling the truth that I've not posted there. Everyone else doesn't care or wishes we'd both go away.

You basically get GY but without regrades.
You dont need to enforce anything.
Clubs dont want 9th grade players on 8th grade teams because they'll be gone for have the season playing High School soccer.
Parents want Aug birthdays playing on the correct grade in school team for college recruiting purposes.
The "problem" solves itself when Aug birthdays play on their correct grade in school team.
Stop evading and be honest. Tell the whole truth
College coaches only care about players Graduating Year or Grade in school.
Which is why Aug birthdays should play on their correct grade in school team so they dont get ignored.
This doesnt even make sense.
Your grade in school and level played in club need to align. College coahes are comparing Aug birthdays to all other players in their grade (graduating year) in school. If you're misaligned down a level in club you're instantly worse than all other players your grade.

Logic, reasoning, history, etc. do not work on him/her. That is their super power, they are completely resistant to reality. They have a low-level girl player who they are worried is going to be bounced down to the 2nd or 3rd team because of this change and it has somehow broken their wine-addled brain."
And to be fair:
"The same guy is posting like crazy on DCUM trying to convince parents to play Aug birthday players on grade down teams.
Nobody is buying it. If you want to get recruited and play in college you need to play on your grade in school (graduating year) team."

Or, there are only 1-2 players a team and not a big deal whether they play HS or not (and many on top teams won't because HS often isn't worth it for top tier players until AFTER they are recruited).
So now your plan is to take High School soccer away from Freshman so Aug birthdays can play down?
Get real
No one is taking away anything. A kid CAN play HS but oftentimes playing with club for another extra season is a better development choice. The reality -- thanks spongeBob -- is many, especially high level, do not play HS, especially freshmen or sophomore years.
