I agree with you, but everything we know about how to effectively persuade people who are deeply wedded to misinformation suggests that arguing using a bunch of facts and science will only make them defensive and push them further into their position. Maybe a little bit of cheeky humor will disarm them enough to get the message across. At this point, whatever works.

I mean, I wonder how many of the horse deworming people are going "It'S ExPeRiMeNtAl!" about the vaccine. Or, are thinking they'll hit up and number of other experimental treatments should they fall too seriously ill.

Well, we know the vaccines don’t prevent nor do they stop transmission. So they can be classified as therapeutics. Which is perfectly fine. At this point though, there are other therapeutics that we need to liberally use (not ban) that have long histories of safety.

There are plenty of stories circulating about unvaccinated people begging for the vaccine as they're about to be intubated, only to be told that it's too late. You have to take it before you get sick because IT IS NOT A TREATMENT once you're already sick.
