Nice try, folks. Your strategy is so damned transparent.

Even though the government has been partly shut down, it’s still costing money, according to a report Monday.
Shuttered museums and national parks can’t collect fees or sell souvenirs, the Internal Revenue Service is collecting less taxes, federal employees still have to shut down operations and the hundreds of thousands of workers furloughed will likely get back pay — for not working, Bloomberg News reported.
“The amount of money we are going to spend on furloughed workers who aren’t going to do anything but will get paid is pure waste,” Gordon Gray, director of fiscal policy at American Action Forum, a center-right nonprofit, told the website.
Congress approved about $2.5 billion in back pay and other compensation for around 850,000 furloughed workers after the 16-day government shutdown in 2013, the Office of Management and Budget said, according to the report.

Why isn't he following through on the oft-repeated campaign promise that Mexico would pay for this wall? Did he lie?
Well Trump certainly needs help, and since neither Mexico or Congress will step up to the plate, that leaves Israel and Russia. But if we let Russia pay for the wall, the Democrats will howl that it's all part of corrupt plot to let Russia take over Texas.

Walls work. It was a wall that kept the thousands of migrants in the caravan out when they attempted to storm the border.
The areas along our southern border where fences and walls have been built - illegal immigration in those areas has dropped dramatically.
Why do Democrats want to make it easy for illegal aliens to enter our country?
Why do actual border patrol agents say that using the money to build the wall is not a good idea?
They don't. You are not fully informed.

+ 1 A wall will be very successful in keeping out illegal aliens. Israel has cut illegal immigration by 99%, and also have ways of blocking the tunnels. We should do the same.
