Dear 2014G Blue families. It looks like from these past few pages of posts there is a continued and sustained effort to undermine the collective progress the team has made and the individual progress each player has made over the past year.
It's curious why anyone cares enough to relentlessly spend their time digitally attacking this team of 10-11 year olds and hoping they split up. I hope they find their happiness one day.
This team and only this team decides what it looks like next year. As with any club, players can pursue national league badges anytime. If the coaching is the same, this team will continue to be a strong RL team, with a coach focused selflessly on player development that will position players for many opportunities in the future, with postseason opportunities, guest playing opportunities, and yes, coaches with NL relationships. There could definitely be worse places to be.
To others looking for a 2014 team next year, haters are going to hate on this team now and in the future. It's become their thing. It's almost flattering this team is worth so much of their time.

The number of so-called adults that have been actively trying to hurt this team for their own purposes for the past two years is really pathetic. I really don't know how you all sleep at night. The job of good coaches is to make sure their players are playing at the right level. If a couple 2014s move up to a higher level so be it. This is the natural way of things when you go to 11v11. The 2014 RL team will not implode. It will be strong, just like the older teams. The 2013s lost a couple players last year and are just fine. Same for the 2012s. Same for the older teams.

No one on here probably knows. There’s nothing telling about it except in your conspiracy minded head.
It’s a bunch of random anonymous parents, not club admins. And even if it was, do you tell the club when you ask to practice with another club to explore a move?
And, again, my DD would be happy to play on the RL team, but if anyone kid gets this chance and wants it, congratulations! It’s not carving up teams, it’s just natural development and progression.

if you are waiting on a pathway to come to GFR and you believe that will make any difference for your child whatsoever you are a clown. if your kid is good enough to play ECNL, MLS next or GA, go to those ID sessions and go play for a club that offers it. pathways are a marketing tool and if you think that having a pathway means your kids GFR team is even partially going to move to one of those top teams you're fooling yourself. my older kid was with GFR when they had the NVA pathway. THREE kids got invited from their team to practice with NVA and only ONE ever played in games with NVA!

Yes, discussions here. I find the blogs tend to have their fingers on the pulse of nearly all things. It’s been too quiet for my tastes. Signed my DC up for some other ID sessions in case this turns out to be another bust.
