If Bullis can be in the IAC, why can't Flint Hill. I believe their academics are on par with one another.

Flint Hill is a bigger school than most of the MAC schools in terms of total enrollment so it might make sense for them to make the leap over to the IAC.

Potomac is no diffrent from SSSAS as far as size.

Academically, I agree, Flint Hill doesnt make the grade to be in the IAC but, then, there is Bullis...

What Bullis is doing is smart. Raising its profile. The general public doesn't care about recruiting. They should stick with questionable ethics regarding lacrosse because it's the sport associated with good academics. They should drop the football, it's not worth it.

Lax associated with good academics at the expense of football? Give me a break.

Landon and Bullis really should get a conference with the best of the Baltimore teams. That would become the hands-down conference in high school lacrosse in the nation.

As for the remainder of the IAC, Potomac has been knocking on the door for awhile. It's time to let them in. Flint Hill has had its ups and downs. But if you put them in the IAC, they may get the attention, recruits and resources it takes to compete with teams like SSSA.

I really think Bullis is better than Landon this Spring. Assuming these teams play again in IAC tournament, the Bulldogs should win.

Final IAC standings prediction:

Landon
Bullis
Prep
St. Albans
Episcopal
St Stephens st Agnes
sssa beat episcopal bad. I would put episcopal in last place, STA in fifth, sssa 4th then agree with u from there

and STA beat SSSAS. So this is correct except for the last two.

Landon
Bullis
Prep
St Albans
SSSAS
EHS

We can agree to disagree here.

My son plays lacrosse, has some friends at Bullis and a few other IAC schools. As a prospective family who will look at a few of the schools routinely mentioned on this thread, I am a little weary of Bullis due to the win at all costs mentality. Why have a middle school or JV program if you are just going to load up on transfers after each season?

Landon and Bullis are in a league of their own this year for lacrosse. There is a big gap between them and the next tier of teams this year (G Prep, Saints, and Gonzaga)

I would say the same thing about the thread on "the state of STA athletics"

Private School + Lacrosse = Lax Bro = Good College + Lax = Beaucoup Cash = Hot Wife + Chevy = Private School + Lacrosse

Tried and true recipe. Whose laughing now?
