They’ve only known LS and the parents are so dialed in to the coaches and staff that most wouldn’t risk going elsewhere and being put on the podium for rejection.

Depart for ECNL to where? Options will be VDA, Union, or Arlington. Only a few at most from each team would be good enough to make it into those teams. And some won’t want to add long commutes. Majority will stay and play GA simply because they won’t have another option and will want to stay with their teammates.
lol some already have long commutes my friend. Some girls come from md and all over. Trust if the kid wants out the parents will see to it. Now for the older girls already committed its probably irrelevant but those younger girls will head for the hills and bump the weaker talent out of their age groups.

Count on it…

Ok, then the ones who are bumped will fill the GA teams. It’s just a shuffling of the same players across the same number of teams. It’s not as big a deal as you think. All these clubs will have no problem filling their roster with paying customers whether the patch says ECNL or GA.

There will be additional team if McLean leaves Union for GA.

my top player will Aspire to play ecnl elsewhere vs being stock for NVAs GA aspire sales pitch to get mlsn.

When you think about it out loud. It makes perfect sense. Knock out the competition in the Loudoun Fairfax vicinity while transferring semi trapped ecnl talent to the GA Aspire product.

Brilliant watson

NVA wouldn't be playing in the Aspire league
is that GAs ecrl or ecnl knock off/competition. ?

Yeah it's GA's version of ECNL-RL for all the clubs 2nd teams. It will also be a place from which you can be promoted or relegated to for consistent underperformance

Brilliant for some. My daughter will go elsewhere for ECNL. Easy decision without question!

Ouch but we don’t say that. Ladies, focus on the discussion and leave kids alone. No kid deserves to be labeled “not good enough “ because 10 years down the road you will never know. In terms of soccer, Messi was labeled not good enough for Argentine league when he was young. The rest we know it.

At what age was Messi told he wasn’t good enough? He was at Newell’s at age 7 and then moved directly to Barcelona. He was identified as a prodigy at five years old.
