People who see J6 as a coup were never on the fence. Most Americans see it as a riot, not a coup d'etat, and they aren't going to suddenly change their view after 4 years.

Trump's failure to do his primary job as Commander-in-Chief during a national security threat on January 6th, 2021 disqualifies him as a candidate for another POTUS term in the minds of any rational person. So while Biden is a weak candidate for another POTUS term relative to the historic norm, you can't fault people for casting votes for Biden in 2024 if they feel Trump and Biden are the only two options and they must pick one.

It took people far too long to get sick of Trump, but it appears that's what is happening.
I think a lot of normal politicians could pivot, but I don't think Trump can.
