When people started tsk-tsking at Cassie for not putting out music despite signing a multi-album deal with Combs’s label, SHE got trashed repeatedly on Black sites as lazy. Same tones for JLo who dumped him 23 years ago and got cuffed because Combs f”ing shot a woman in the nose and forced a less powerful man, Shyne, to serve a decade in prison.

He got away with certain crimes because a fair number of observers didn’t know his history. Because of his money. Because of threats and blackmail. But he also got away with probable murder (anyone think he correctly dosed his rape victims every time?) because of his admirers who loved and love him BECAUSE of his brutality, and especially because his brutality impacted plenty of non-Black women along with Kim and Misa and Sanaa.

I don't have any ability to judge this at all, but I saw on some instagram account a person saying that Kim Kardashian trafficked for him - bringing girls to him in the early days. Who knows. Rumors are flying all over.

I haven't read the whole thread so I don't totally understand the Scooter Braun involvement but I thought it was highly suspect when his wife unceremoniously dumped him in 2021. I wonder if she was getting out while the getting was good. Maybe she found out about the Bieber stuff.
