1. M&D - got better
2a. MDU - unknown changes, lost coach
2b. HG - got better
4. Coppermine - lost a couple top players
5a. BLC - lost a top player
5b. YJMA - lost a top player
So basically the same positions as last year but most likely with a bigger gap between top 3 and others. Sound right?
A poster made an innocuous, hopeful comment about the future of a class. Reply was "Who cares?" Yeah, about 7th graders. Actually 6th.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I would say SR and their supporters do. Both the girls leaving BLC and YJ are at SR, along with several other girls from both teams. They will all still see each other - and play on the school team - all the time. No one is losing any friends because a couple girls are going to alternative travel teams. Good grief.

There is a family who are former teammates who likes to stir things up on here, I don’t think there are actual hard feelings from almost anyone from any team. Don’t believe everything you read on an anonymous message board.
If that’s true it sounds like SR should be pretty solid for this age group
Who Cares?
Actually, no one in the ISL will care about middle school wins and losses. You need some perspective. 7th grade.

Where did you here that this is "obviously" a toxic dynamic? Have you played sports?Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:If it were only possible for people that you knew to see how you speak about 6th grade girls, I would help make that happen in an instant.Anonymous wrote:Also it’s very toxic - for the player and the team - to have a ‘best player’ - everyone will be better off without this dynamic even though it stings now.
Again, a very general comment that you are taking personally and as some sort of grave insult. Why? It’s obviously not a positive dynamic to have a team where one player is put out there as ‘the best’ - everyone suffers including that player. However, it’s not at all uncommon and certainly isn’t a descriptor that singles out a specific team or player.

Anonymous wrote:If there was one (self described) ‘best player,’ her departure will likely mean that everyone else will get better as I have never seen a video that involved anything other than her running down the field to the goal alone.
I would say SR and their supporters do. And the rest of the ISL is going to.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:This whole thread is a load of BS.
