with the marriage because he is not there. Some of the facts are so bizarre. There was no house bought together in 29 years!! No car owned until she must have put her foot down to actually own something. He just comes across as old and cheap and mean. Yuck!! Good for her to have the courage to walk out. I hope she finds someone who will love her and not treat her like she should be happy to get a meal. Sad for their kids.
Lol. His fans do not care or follow this. The masses rightfully assume a rich famous guy has a gold digger ex trying to take his money.

First, who in the world marries a celebrity / multimillionaire and doesn't take advantage of the opportunity to build their own income? I mean, Lionel Messi's wife, all the real housewives have some kind of product they are hawking. It sounds like he was encouraging her to do this. It wouldn't need to be a FT job. You can still be a FT SAHM. And secondly, all this time she was not funding your own 401K/ IRA or setting up any sort of financial safety net? Either she has been sneakily funneling money for years (but you'd think that would be uncovered during discovery), or she is an utter idiot. My instinct is the latter, since her approach to the divorce seems so sloppy. Then again, she was smart enough to marry Kevin Costner. Maybe she got lazy after that.
Hawking crap and reality TV is pretty classless and tacky. And they lived in the quiet old money parts of California and Colorado or wherever the ranch is where that would get side-eyed. That said, if I were her, I at least would have pursued a bachelor’s and advanced degree on his dime over the last 20 years.

Just because you are pretty enough to marry someone famous doesn’t make you some sort of entrepreneur. Also totally different person than Lionel Messi’s wife. His wife is his childhood sweetheart that met him while living her life and developing her own interests.
Also even Christine was contributing the max each year in a 401k/IRA that’s not going to allow her the lifestyle she is looking for.
+1 Too many people on this forum think money is the end all, be all in life. It absolutely is not.

I will continue to watch Costner shows and movies if they are good. I’m already sad about Yellowstone. So no, I don’t think most people care about this rich man and his trophy wife. If he gives good cinema, we will watch.
Yes Costner is cheap ASF. That’s his wife’s problem and I don’t care. She knew what she was marrying into.
Yea the wife is dumb ASF. Or maybe not. If she purchased jewels and expensive bags that appreciate in value, she will be fine.
If wife signed that prenup with her attorney’s advice, she cannot claim she did not understand. It took her twenty years plus to figure out she did not understand. Judge ain’t gonna buy that argument. Wife should have asked for an adjustment in the prenup during the course of the marriage.
The children will be fine. They will be better off than eighty -percent of children who have to deal with divorced parents.
