gonzaga played in an end of year HS tournament well after WCAC season had ended.
If the Cadets really wanted to make the game happen with GP at the end of the season last spring, it could have been done.
Save the league rules BS, or end of year final exams blah blah.
Speaks ran.
Anonymous wrote:its pretty well known the Mad Lax founder tried to organize a DMV lax championship between the winner of the IAC and WCAC last Spring.
Prep was committed to play, St. Johns declined.

It may be true Prep and Landon may refuse to play SJC, but it is also true that SJC will not play in an end-of-year DMV Championship.
BTW-There is usually a big difference in a team from early March to late May. Some teams get better, others decline.
Let's agree that many disagree with Prep v SJC rankings or which league is better.
I think we all agree an end-of-year DMV championship would be a great event!
Why did they need SJC for the end of the year tournament?

And then its just over and you probably won’t think about that place again and it likely won’t come up again unless you’re in an under armour store and you can mention to whoever you’re with that the founder attended your high school for a year. This is not an insult - your son either wants that or he doesn’t and both are ok.
Anonymous wrote:Again, a league is comprised of many teams not just the top two or three. IAC league is better than WCAC. IAC teams have great competition competing against each other - from top to bottom. WCAC only has competition in the top two or three schools. It’s shouldn’t be this hard to understand. Not to mention historically IAC has been a better lacrosse league than WCAC also. No one thinks of WCAC when they talk about top lacrosse leagues in the country. Sorry, facts.
Parents - If you want your son to play for the best in the DMV the decision is clear. Short ride to Military Rd.
