How is it an "institutional norm?" How many former Presidents ran for office under such a massive and ongoing legal cloud?
Yoo is full of crap.
I’d say the institutional norm was that former presidents don’t steal classified documents, refuse to give them back, lie about it, and conceal their theft.

Given TFG’s style, it’s almost a sure thing he was using the documents, and who knows how many others we never recovered, as leverage in business negotiations. Can we just stop ducking around and put him away? I understand protecting sources and methods but I think the American people deserve to know more than we do about how bad this guy is.

It really doesn't seem like it.
Since Nazis are already out protesting Disney and supporting DeSantis in Florida, I wonder if the Jan 6th Trumpers who haven't been caught yet will show up for yet another display of civil war tomorrow at the courthouse.
At this point I assume Trump could shoot one of his secret service detail in the middle of the street and get away with it.
He probably could. Many dictators have aspired and ascended to be that free from accountability. It’s not crazy to suggest it could happen here at all.
