Great coaching, and the top athletes want to play in college so practices and athletic expectations is high. Not the right club for player who just wants to keep a stick in their hand for low level HS lacrosse.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:For many reasons, my daughter is considering a change in teams for the upcoming year. She is looking for a place with steady coaches and girls who want to play and improve, not necessarily a team focused mainly on college recruitment. Does MC Elite fit the bill? And does their 2027 team seem solid? I'm hoping to get some information from this group that I can't find on their website. Really appreciate any feedback on the current situation for this 2027 girls group.
From what I can tell, they played in one tournament this summer, going 2-2 at Continental Cup (same weekend as L4C). Not sure if this is a trolling post or not, but as an outsider looking in, probably not a destination for someone looking to improve (and actually participate in tournaments).

Ok GC 2027 goalie dad - I think we’ve been through this before - yes, we all know your daughter starts.
So many of you are such aholes the way you just throw crap at people because you think you know who is posting even tho this forum is anonymous. I’m not a man/dad and I’ve never been anywhere near GC.
You just randomly need to know this info? Sure!

I've seen it in the WCAC with four teams this season SJC, AHC, Ireton, and O'Connell, and with two teams in the ISL Potomac and SSASA, and that doesn't include GC. So GC goalie dad your girl is not the only one...
There is probably a correlation in there between how weak the team is vs. how many play up on Varsity. It's more impressive the better the team. If you can catch and throw you're probably on the Varsity at O'Connell for example.
Stone Ridge has three freshman who start on Varsity and it hasn't hurt their top 10 national ranking.
