Speaking as someone from 22207, not APE, we are very much enjoying our decisions! Thank you. The return to normalcy is a weight lifted off kids. I don’t know anyone who checks the dashboard or cares. Our friends and family only wear masks where required like airplanes. Domestic travel doesn’t require testing, so I don’t see that there will be a spike after spring break. Plenty of families have been traveling for work, weddings, sports, reunions etc and have returned healthy.
I'm in 22207 and I know a lot of sick people right now. It's certainly not normal. You sound very much like a Covid denier.

Thanks! We hope this will be our experience!
Today our ES school received our first community covid notification in almost three weeks. It will be interesting to see if others follow, especially after Spring break. My kids are still wearing masks. Wishing good health to everyone!
I'm shocked there are still a few ES kids wearing masks. Saying "just wait until after Spring Break" tells you about the neurosis of the parents of these poor kids.
Our school is still 99% mask wearing. So is my neighborhood school (from the kids i see walking to class). This is in S. Arlington large minority populations and in 22204 which has been hit hardest among covid. Easier for families to go maskless when they haven't lost family/friends from it (we lost 3 of my neighbors and my husband's uncle). I am not saying that kids need to wear masks forever (although my kids chose to wear them until the end of the school year when I gave them a choice). From what I gather on this board there is a very big difference between mask wearing in North vs. South Arlington elementary schools.
(I am not making this statement to argue for or against masks but just the different perspective families may be experiencing)

+1. No one traveling domestically is testing on return. There will be no spike. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Neurosis? I don't want to lose 10k on our Spring Break vacation! Even an symptomatic infection would prevent us from going, due to international travel rules.
You paid $10,000 for an international vacation during a pandemic and you didn't buy trip insurance?
Lmao you’re so noob. Just fake the damn papers. I’ve flown over 10 times internationally since December 2019. Not inoculated. Just a fake paper. Nobody gives af whether or not you subjugated yourself to an experiment so you’re allowed to exercise your rights and freedoms.
I've flown 20 times with faked papers I'm twice the patriot you are
