This is ridiculous. I am a Democrat and vaccinated and I do not understand this. Who is this helping? The vast majority of the people in Loco MoCo are vaccinated. It's time to stop worrying about the few that refuse to get it.
Because vaccinated people can still get and transmit covid. Why is that so hard to understand? Its not just about unvaccinated. What is wrong with you to not understanding that masking helps, especially indoors or in close contact. Its helping our community by keeping everyone safe. 5-11 just started getting vaccinated so they are not fully vaccinated. 1 day old to age 5 cannot be vaccinated. Do they not matter?
what is the hospitalization rate for that demographic (1 day old to age 5)?
Zero.
Kids in this demographic have died in the US and all over the world. Guess its ok because they are dead.
how many died?
Google is your friend.

I think if the antimaskers had used common sense and masked in grocery stores and pharmacies, the two places where sick people may need to really go, they could have kept the rates down and masks off.
Your stoner friend probably shared a bong or bowl with her dealer. They filled the room with covid filled pot exhaust. Dumb.
And? Very similar to filling gyms with exercise exhaust.
Point is, most antimaskers in MoCo could have prevented masks coming back so fast just by wearing masks in the two places most sick people will be most likely to be shopping. Most sick people are not doing exercise classes, having beers, or buying clothes at Macys or whatever.
Use common sense people and do better next time.
Which will probably be after January, because no one apparently has common sense. Including my friend, who didn't bother wearing a mask with a guy she knew was not known to follow laws of any sort.

Exactly. Hope you did not dump her in a cheap assisted care home.
