I mean, are you really asking if your husband, a grown man, can safely drive 6 hours on two different days? Is he physically or mentally impaired? Are you? Is your child?

Gird your loins, my sister, because I, a feeble woman, just drove from Tyson's to Nashville, AND BACK, over the Labor Day weekend. And I did not have to retire to my deathbed after.

Are you really THIS overprotective of a grown man? He's your husband not your son!? And btw your 18-20 yr old son (or daughter) could easily be doing a 6 hr drive.

FYI - I know wives LOVE being SO overprotective of their men when they are in their 30s-50s. You reap what you sow. Men lean into this stuff hard -- anyone who mommies them -- get ready for a 60-70+ year old who "can't" handle basic things bc when they lose confidence in handling things alone in their 50s, do you think it'll be better in the next few decades? Are you ready for anyone to be THAT reliant on you??

This can’t be real. I just dropped the kid off at college- 10 hours each way, drove down one day and home the next. Didn’t even leave to come home until after 2pm. And I worked the next day. Six hours is a walk in the park. I’m really, really hoping this is a troll.

6 hours is fine. I used to drive myself home from grad school for a weekend - 4 hours each way. Leave on a Friday, come back on Sunday. Turned into 6 hours with I-95 traffic.
