Right, I’m sure these other clubs with hundreds of paying parents will just close up shop because the fields come under new owners. No way they could negotiate to use a couple of the fields. There are other fields you know. Money solves these problems

Yes, Barca and FCV are small clubs. Certainly small compared to Loudoun Soccer. I’m always amazed at the outsize attention they seem to attract on this board given their relative size. I have had kids play in all of these clubs at different times. Barca has around 30 odd teams, maybe 500 players. FCV has even less, only girls, I’d guess around 300 players. Loudoun has something like 10,000 players between rec and travel.
It's down now, but a few years ago they had more than 15,000. PSA had as many as these other clubs for their initial Ashburn summer rec league.

This is crazy. I've spent so much time there and it hasn't been for soccer for years (my last soccer player gave it up in 6th grade). I hope they will continue to offer the space to other sports and organizations. It's a beautiful facility. Absolutely shocked that it's only valued at 4-5 million.

They already come... multiple teams/sports use the facility ALL THE TIME. Drive past on any night of the week between 3:30p and 7:30p and the parking lot is almost full, with spaces only open due to soccer moms dropping off and running to get their pumpkin lattes while the kids practice. This place is packed during the soccer seasons. Love it there for our kids.

The league annoucement indicated that the parking lot would be paved in the future and bathrooms installed between the last two fields. Great for those of us that use the fields regularly!

Will they be merging with someone??????????????????????? Where are they going to get all the players? I'm not seeing a club go from a few hundred players/20-30 teams to multiple thousands overnight. They will need a track record of wins and college placement history at the upper ages...
