Will be reconfiguring the first floor a year from now and you better believe it walls will go up everywhere,

Location of recessed lights in the kitchen. They are so random, rather than thoughtfully or logically placed.
Finally, I wish we had placed some pocket doors in locations that are generally open. Not so much an issue now, but when the kids were little, and we were entertaining, there was no way to close off the open floor plan that we love, to keep the noise from floating upstairs and keeping them up. Would have been easy to do at the time, now there is electrical and other things in those walls.

I hope you don't live on the West Coast.
The water sitting in the pipes is more likely to have lead in it. I’d prefer that my children not invest more lead than is necessary.

I love moroccan tiles- do you mean the arabesque shapes? I'm still warming up to DO that eventually. Is it already passé?
No not the arabesque, the patterned Moroccan tile. Mine are neutral colors and I’m still over it. I don’t think the trend has ended and the tiles are beautiful. I just hate when everything is overdone.
I don’t get this. Either you like it or you don’t. Disliking something because it’s popular is just as bad as liking something because it’s popular.
I’m not sure what you aren’t getting. You can like something and still wish you hadn’t done it. It’s not about being popular it’s bout seeing it every where and being sick of it. Hopefully that clears it up for you.
It does clear it up. It’s about being a snob.
Not a snob at all. Far from it. I am just heavily into interior design. You know the person who has tons of interior design books and watches HGTV all the time After a style has been overdone, and the market becomes saturated with it. I’m over it. I get sick of seeing it. Not really a big deal. It’s my thing. Sorry you aren’t able to understand or comprehend that. But really the name calling is unnecessary.
Eh. You just made my point.

How is this any different than a homeowner saying I want to tear out my white kitchen and add some color (I am sick of seeing white kitchens everywhere, I need a change) This happens all the time and is not a big deal.
