Yea the core of that list is cemented early on and it's VERY tough to bump one of those player off. By about u13/14 the top youth soccer squads are set and very little changes past that.
If a player is good enough, they will break through.

So don't know if all age groups were like this, but at the end of the second day they made the boys who didnt make it watch the players who did play against each other. Ninety plus degrees out, they've been busting their asses for two straight days, then fully insult them making them sit through a game for a team they didn't make. We've been to many tryouts, but have never seen that much flagrant disregard for the kids.
What age group was this?
That was 08 boys. Normally at tryouts, they just thank the kids for coming and say we'll let you know kind of thing. These coaches made the kids, who never had a sniff of the best field, sit and watch a final game with the kids who had been told they made it. Many parents were pissed with them adding insult to injury.

Care to share which league he/she plays in? ECNL, MLS-next, NCSL, ODSL, CCL, etc...
ECNL. She scored or assisted with 70% of the goals for the team and I can’t give her a reason why she wasn’t ID.
She was making the other players look bad.
Funny but true. Maybe they got the email wrong and since VA didn’t publish their nomination one may never know.
Doesn't the ECNL have their own ID camps and tournaments? Just wondering why a member of a full ECNL club would do ODP?
Because they can.
Remember this is the USA and girl travel soccer. Assists are not important only goals are important. This is why you should never pass!
Are offers still being sent? MD nominated list count keeps going up. What’s that about?
