This! I don't understand, mine have never been THAT tight. I can bend and squat down and all that in them no problem. Where are these painted on jeans? Are they the wrong size?
Yours have spandex in them. Some people wear jeans that are only denim and it’s much stiffer.
Nope. Most all my jeans are raw, or 98/99 cotton. I do have one skinny pair that is stretchier but they still are pretty high cotton count. I just disagree that most women are walking around in jeans they had to squeeze their legs into, that seemed to be only an issue in say 2007 when skinnies were "newer" and cut only one way

I am currently seeking a pair of straight leg jeans that are still slim through the hip and thigh, just wide enough at the hem to slip over my boots, yet can still be worn with flats, Birks, Chucks, heels.... And don't come all the way to my ribcage (I'm short in the rise and 9-10" rise is as high as I can go). AND aren't cropped. AND don't have rips in them.
Madewell should have what you're looking for.
Anonymous wrote:No way am I giving up skinny jeans. They are the only jeans that look good on me being slender and 5'7" tall and a size 6 with C cup bra and big butt that is out of proportion to the rest of my body (that is now the kind of butt everyone is dying to have that i was made to feel ashamed of most of my life). If I don't wear leggings or tighter pants, I look much larger than I am. I have kept my bootcut jeans from higher-end brands from the 2000s (e.g., AG) and would wear those if it didn't mean having to wear 3 inch heels/boots underneath which I have largely given up wearing.
who wants to look like a stupid gen z or younger millenial? i recoil in disgust as i see them prancing all over town in their high waist big mom jeans and their stupid sneakers out of the 80s.
no thanks, been there done that back when i was a little kid in the 80s and there were no good choices in fashion.
Anonymous wrote:No, I just pulled my bootcut jeans out (when you all said to throw them out). Once bootcut are back out (hopefully soon) I will put them away and pull out my skinny jeans.

+1. They’ll look back in disgust at their dumb fashions when they’re older.

They are still in stores and fashion magazines.
That big baggy, high waisted sh*t doesn't look good on most people. I work out hard to stay fit and shape. I'm keeping my skinnies.
