One girl around the age of 7-8 walked up and asked us if she can please have some water because she is really thirsty. I asked where her parents were. She pointed to her mom and her friend who were power walking around the playground. When the moms came closer I told them her daughter had asked for water. The mom laughed and said "oh ok she's just being silly".

15 min later the moms are back to power walking and the girl asks somebody else for water again. The mom approaches again and tells her daughter "what are you doing? I don't have water, if you want water we have to go home".

Would you have given the girl water or mind your own business? We didn't have any unopened bottles, just the baby's sippy cup and a bottle I had been drinking from.
