To the extent you are not a troll, OP, I provide some legitimate observations and advice (BTDT albeit not with a relative). The kind of “love@ you’re describing has a shelf-life, on average, of 18 months. Then it changes (if you were both free and got married, it would likely change into something similar to what you have with your husband, or something less than that, given that it started out so stunningly wrong). Stay with your husband, and use your FIL as a mental sex toy to spice up your intimate time with the Hubs (don’t tell him that, of course). I did this, my marriage stayed blissfully intact, and within about 3 years I totally got over my feelings for the other one. Good luck. Op again - I understand why people are making fun of me. I know it comes across as dysfunctional but we are truly a loving family who gets along for the most part.
