It's hard to believe that people don't know that "love is love" refers to the right for gays to marry, but that's what it means, PP -- it's a statement of solidarity for LGBTQ people.
Gay marriage has been legal for many years -- MD was the first state to legalize it by referendum, in fact.

Also a scientist and I find that puzzling. I have an undergrad and a grad degree in a science field.
Anyone who thinks ‘science is real’ knows that science is fluid and changes constantly. Studies are constantly being done to prove and disprove hypothesis. What scientist believed one hundred years ago is completely different than what scientists believe now.

As an engineer, I will mention that some science is imaginary. In fact, it may be required for quantum mechanics.
