We assume this is very unlikely and plan to keep DC in current childcare setting which we are happy with.

Spanish would be first priority, but maybe full time in person would trump even a good Spanish option this year. Threw the Deal feeders in case this year is that crazy, and not sure if we’d take the Powell spot.
English dominant, sorry.
Swami needs to know if you have an inboundary preferences or ability to pass a native language test before she swamiis
No inboundary preference, and we have a fluent, but non-dominant kid, so not trying to scam the system either. Thanks swami!!

This was the first time we played the lottery - we don’t have a lot of knowledge on this, but do understand that Ross is almost impossible out of boundary, and Garrison/Seaton also very competitive. Our child has no siblings.

Not Swami...but zero percent chance at any of these
I don’t think that’s right. Some of these schools took big enrollment hits this year. More kids in these neighborhoods will head to privates next year if in person is looking at all iffy. No seats will be offered in the lottery, but I’d virtually bet on WL movement at a few of those schools.
My child is at Murch in 3rd this year. We have had 2 students leave. You will not get in OOB at Murch next year. Guaranteed. Not sure about the other schools.
Huh?
