Horrible coaching and Century Gold was athletically better. They’d give McLean and FCV a good game. Meanwhile, Richmond gets stronger every day.

Ecnl events are actually problematic in this way as they have the showcase games count towards the seeding in the playoffs. This interferes with using the showcases for showcasing players and makes it too much about the result.
That said, this year's Jeff cup in not good. Many coaches not allowed to come and it is not even set up for them to watch a live stream of the game so the showcasing aspect is severely diminished.
the players will give it their al like they always do but IMO, this year it is poor quality showcasing opportunity.
Who cares!!! The kids wanna play and they get to play.
