I thought she was always very pretty. I loved her poem that she read during the women's March. I know a lot of older White Republican women are triggered but it was right to speak out against #DiaperDon - the whoremonger, rapist POTUS who wants to fu$ck his own daughter....plus he was incompetent, ignorant, racist, anti-American, corrupt and misogynistic.
I think she is a hero.

She was also educated at Harvard and has had an interest in this area for at least a few years (I saw an interview from 2019). I have no idea why she has no accent

When I once asked him who was the worst person he ever encountered he did not hesitate to indicate Ashley Judd. Said she was “spoiled, unprofessional, hard headed, selfish, insecure, unreliable and a bit crazy.”
I hope she gets better but I bet there is a back story.
Your friend's opinion of Ashley Judd is not really a "back story".

There are multiple layers of privilege in this story, and while everyone of course wishes her a full and speedy recovery, it does not seem like her portion of whatever work she is doing needed to be happening right now. She comes off as entitled, rich, privileged, and clueless. I love wildlife and I think it is great that she wants to bring attention to the plight of the bonobo. It’s just a lot to ask me to rationalize when I think about all of the sacrifices regular people are making due to the pandemic and she bops around from speaking roles at the Women’s March to Congolese forests like a ball in a pinball machine of privilege. Her injury sounds harrowing and I wouldn’t wish it on her, but this whole episode has demonstrated to me that she has some work to do on herself. +1000 to the person who said they hope she donates handsomely to benefit Congolese hospitals and schools. And finally, I, too am curious about who her life partner is.

Anonymous wrote:Wow, that sounds like a harrowing story. It's nice that she is giving all credit and praise to the people who saved her life. You certainly can't fault her for not being grateful or gracious.
As to why she was in the Congo? I mean, really, of all the places where she's unlikely to be catching or spreading corona, literally isolated in a remote area is pretty safe. Plenty of DCUMs split for isolated areas to get away from the pandemic.

Get a life, a husband, a job...anything to keep yourself occupied, you pathetic human being.
NP here - I think we've hit a nerve with the fillers wives club here on DCUM, everybody!(damn! where is the warped face emoji??)
I hope she sees herself and stops doing it. She looks disfigured.
She's probably going to "keep doing it" because her doctors have recommended she use prednisone to treat chronic illness and she has decided her health is worth the side effect of "moon face" from the drugs.
Do you like to tell cancer patients that their hair sucks?
