+1. Let's be honest, DCUM is always pretty critical of whoever is posting with a family problem- it's always the poster's fault! Imagine if the sister was writing from her point of view, saying that she didn't like her family for XYZ reasons and as such blows off any attempts at contact and doesn't understand why they would like a relationship with her child. Short of an abusive situation (which does not seem to be the case here), the same people piling on this OP would be piling on the sister as selfish and judgmental for not meeting her family partway.
