I looked pretty shocked when she said that. She apologized extensively and mentioned my husband Chris has told her husband that we have a really hot nanny. She continued to assure me nothing fishy was up it was just the guys talking.
I feel really hurt. Obviously it's because I'm insecure because she's clearly attractive and 10 years younger than me. Should I bring it up to him?
And what would you accomplish by doing that? He can't control his brain. I suppose you can make him shut up his mouth, but not his head. 40 is not too old. Have you given up?

My husband and I have always been really open about whether we think someone is pretty, handsome, hot, etc. Like it is truly a matter of FACT.

Oof. If DH found out nanny attractive, 1) he wouldn’t have used the word “hot” which I find degrading, and 2) he wouldn’t have discussed it with a buddy. He would have discussed it with me. I dunno, I find this gross behavior.
I just hope OP he makes you feel beautiful too, because every woman deserves to feel that way. That said, your insecurities are ultimately your own. Work on that and tell your husband he messed up.
