My lifelong BFF taught her sons in the valley outside of LA. She had nothing but very nice things to say about both Britney and Kevin. Kevin is the primary parent, he is very involved and serious with their sons. Britney is very pleasant and sweet but seemed a bit immature and more of a weekend parent. Kevin was the one doing the homework with the boys, checking on their tests, conferencing with teachers, etc. He was the stability. Britney is a lovely person, but the boys were better off primarily with Kevin.

Gosh, can you imagine if someone reported on your parenting like your loose lipped friend blabbed to you and probably everyone else? And OF COURSE she was a “weekend parent” as you put it. She doesn’t have primary custody. That tends to cut a person out of the loops. JFC.

You seem very angry. You think teachers at any school don't talk about parents? Give me a break. Take some deep breaths. I don't think what PP wrote was disturbing at all, and I gathered that was the case anyway. Why you seem so bent out of shape to hear that the exH is a good parent that does the heavy lifting, instead of the "gold digger" everyone wants him to be and why are you so upset to hear that Britney is a nice person? You seem way too invested.

Teacher here. Of course teachers talk. But they should have the sense to not blab to people who are then going to put personal information out on a public message board for anyone to read. Major violation of privacy. To the PP who wrote that-- I hope that teacher realizes you are no friend. Use your head.

I'm sorry. But what exactly did the original poster said that is getting everyone so worked up? That Britney is nice and has the kids on the weekend? And so? That Kevin is very involved with the boys? And so?

JFC, I don't see any violation of privacy here at all. It would be one thing if someone said: "well, one kid needs special support and the mother is super rude and doesn't care about her children, and the father is the only one who ever returns emails, blah blah blah."

But that's not what the person wrote, at all. I am having a very hard time understanding the insanity over this. And I'm sorry to disappoint you but I am not dumb; yet it isn't clear to me. It sounds like to me the teacher had very nice things to say, what in the world are people up in arms about? Not contrived and made up innuendoes that posters WANT to see, that are not there. Please, spell it out for us.

Because from all I’ve read, it’s completely inappropriate. If she still needs a conservator, and maybe she does, she’s still entitled to have someone responsible she chooses. She’s not completely incapacitated; she performs regularly.
