Omg this is my kid! Almost exact same wording. Grrrrrr

Another subject in that same study! She was LIVID that I pointed out that she was a little ....... unreasonable in the mornings when she had stayed up too late the night before. It *clearly* had NOTHING to do with that. I don’t even KNOW what I’m talking about it.

- just a dumb mom (and a healthcare professional with TWO PUBLISHED PAPERS ABOUT SLEEP HYGIENE )

Wow. This is rich! You are a published author in the field. Hahahaha. We gotta laugh or we’ll scream, right? 😀

Thanks for laughs! These were hysterical. My disorganized 17-year old’s reaction to every question about what *hasn't* been done: “I was low key just about to do that.”

“Low key” is very much used at our house. And what coincidence that the activity was “just about to get done” when I ask.

OMG I can hear my 10yo's voice in some of these already. Especially about picking clothes up from the bedroom floor. "It's easier to find what I want when they're all spread out, and the cat likes having piles to sleep on. Of course I know which ones are clean and which are dirty. That pile by the door over there is clean, because that's where I put them when I carry them back from the laundry room. That pile by the bed is dirty, because that's where I put them when I take them off at night. I'm the one who lives in this room, why do you care if it meets YOUR standards for clean?"

I'm frightened for what's coming in a few years.

In a heated moment...
Me: Why are you BEING that way??
DS: You raised me! If you were a better parent, I wouldn’t be like this!

what's good
I know 10 girls that were roofied last weekend
it's slight

That’s really disturbing. Are roofies really that common? And where would this happen, unless parties are taking place?!

This cracks me up.

They don't want us in the kitchen because then they can't slip out unnoticed while leaving a hellacious mess.

So true.

One of my teens, I haven't figured out which one, took a Sharpie and wrote on the milk "EXPIRED". Huge block letters. Then put the expired milk back in the fridge. They know how to dispose of expired milk. I'm leaving it there for now until I figured out who discovered it. If I ignore it forever it will stay in the fridge until the end of time.

This is awesome! I kind of love your kid.

Yelled with tears, because the wifi automatically cut out at a certain time at night.

OMG!!! My daughter complained to her therapist about this and said "you are the only parent who does this" and I said "that's weird because there is an entire industry of apps created to do it"
