OMFG. I had to look this one up. Please tell me it is a spoof site! Please.
Not only is it not a spoof, but you can also purchase sewing patterns from her. https://somethingdelightful.com/vogue-patterns/designer-patterns/rachel-comey/
(If I were better at sewing, I would make that huge sleeved blouse from pattern 1704).

I spend a lot of time on Instagram—in between living my #bestlife, I mean! I seize every day and every opportunity—for a great adventure, for making memories with my squad, for snagging a new pic for my Tinder profile. I’ve never actually nailed a presentation to a c-suite board and then gone out for rooftop cocktails with a flock of male models, but I am TOTALLY ready! Any day now! I’ve made up for the total lack of professional female role models in my life by fixating on Sex & the City and The Devil Wears Prada, which means I have a pretty good idea of what a boss babe looks like. I grew up wearing Juicy tracksuits and Banana Republic, so it seems totally reasonable to me to spend $300 on a unlined poly-blend dress with no tailoring and poor fit. Secretly, I know that my friends are soooo jealous of me!
man this totally nails it. The one MM LaFleur stan I know is constantly posting about how she is "like a boss" and how jealous people are of her.
I cannot fathom living my life like that.
I know people like that IRL but I don’t think they wear M M La Fleur; I know they looooove athletic clothes. They DO go on Instagram every single day and talk about how “life is SO hard” and they’re “SO OVERWHELMED you guyssssss [obligatory joke about being simply whelmed goes here]” and how they fell off their goals AGAIN (considering they “fall off” every week when they give their update, were they ever on top of their goals?) but how they’re “doing their best and it’s OK to not be OK, you have to do self-care and be KIND to yourself and those extra 20 lb you put on represent all your EXPERIENCES and FUN TIMES.” Repeat ad infinitum. But despite all of that, they’re still a #bossbabe! You’re just jealous sweaty.
No this does not describe MM LaFleur women, you're dealing with a different demographic...the MM LaFleur women are usually like well-paid middle managers or consultant types who talk about how they despise athleisure and how being "put together" matters so much in "climbing the corporate ladder" to get where they are. They harp endlessly on "quality" and yet wear MM LaFleur.
