DP. Completely agree. I'm a very fair-skinned brunette - dark brown hair, almost black - and would look terrible if I went lighter. I did consider it a few times, but keep coming back to the fact that I just look better with very dark hair. My skin tone is "cool" and any warmth around my face makes me look sick and sallow. I honestly can't think of one naturally brunette actress who looked better after going lighter.


Yep. Jennifer Connelly is another one that looks awful blonde.

I always assumed older women go lighter because it blends better with greying and masks roots growing in. My hairdresser has taken my hair much lighter for this reason- I used to have dark brown hair but now am totally grey, altho I color my hair to a very light brown and then highlight on top.

Very few people can get away with hair as dark as Erin has it colored. Erin is NOT ONE that can get away with it. It's too "Elvira". Looking. She is pretty with lovely eyes, lighten that hair, please!
