Those are pretty rare examples of hitting a stereotype. Most big law partners I know drive boring cars --- subarus and mid-grade SUVs.
Drive around McLean or Bethesda up Elm street going out of downtown some time. Some rich people in these places are driving BMWs Range Rovers Mercedes and Porsche. I’ve not seen a high end new construction home without a fancy car. In fact every doctor I can think of I’ve over known drives a Mercedes or Porsche.
True. That's the reality in the real world, not the dcum fiction.
We live in mclean. Our kids attend public school. I would say half the cars are Range Rovers, Teslas, Mercedes, etc. I don’t see as many minivans as DCUM suggests. I drive a 7 passenger SUV. DH has a Porsche 911 in our garage. Our immediate neighborhood has all nice cars. The homes on our block are $2-5m and no one drives an old Honda Odyssey or old beat up Toyota. Maybe some of the housekeepers.

The kind of people that live in vulgar neighborhoods like McLean or Potomac or much of Bethesda will have very expensive cars, for sure. But wealthy people that live in places like Ch Ch or Cleveland Park will often have cheaper/more practical cars.
