Oil massage and shower every day. Lotion and skin treatments daily. Organic home made body scrub once a week.
Hair color and highlight every three weeks. Gloss and hair mask or treatment every week. Haircut every three week. Hair styled every day.
Microdermabrasion - once a week
Full body sugaring as needed. - once in two weeks
Pedicure once a week. Hot wax treatment for hands, feet, elbow and knees - every week
Facial and manicure - once a week. I do not keep long nails or fake nails. My nails are cut short and my nail polish is a very light nude polish. I give myself hot wax treatment.
Dental - Cleaning twice a year. Brush, water pik, gargle - twice a day. Oil pulling - once daily.
At 55, I have flawless skin and great hair. I take around 1-2 hours on a weekend night to take care of hair, wax, facial, mani-pedi, microdermabrasion and hot wax treatment. I have been doing this since my 20s. I do all my treatments at home and I also make many of my lotions, treatments and my wax at home. I also have been cutting my short pixie cut hair at home since the pandemic.
I don't have a problem when women get professional treatments like Botox or fillers etc. I have never tried it mainly because of cost and time. The one time slot that works for me is when the household has winded down at night and I can do everything that I need to do for myself in 1-2 hours. I cannot imagine doing everything that I need to get done at a commercial salon in the middle of the day without inconveniencing my family. It helps that I have experience and some training to do all of these treatments on my own.

Once I finish with the oil massage (it takes no more than 15 minutes), I wear an old robe made of towel material and head to the kitchen to start cooking for the day. And that easily takes 35-50 minutes. I take a shower after I have finished cooking so that I can get dressed for work and not smell of cooking smells. I know... very unglamorous.
My morning routine has not changed for the past 30+ years.
Do you work???
Never mind, I see that you do. I've never heard of anyone cooking for the day - before breakfast at least.
Yeah, this poster is quite...unique.

I only have one question.
WHY?
Is your job appearance-focused? Otherwise, I honestly don't understand why a suburban middle-aged woman would do all that. Vanity? Poor self-esteem?
The hard truth is, nobody cares about your 'great hair and flawless skin'.

You get a microdermabrarasion once a WEEK?
Yes. I have a home machine that I love. I use it on my face, neck, chest. I do one area every week, so it has time to recover. You can choose the strength that you want by using the home machine.
No, I do not go to a salon for this. After the treatment it soaks up any lotion, serum etc that you put on your face. You can completely skip using makeup if you want. Oh, also it goes without saying but protect yourself from sun, I only expose myself to morning or evening sun.
Those machines don't work. I would suggest going to a doctor once every six weeks for real microdermabrasion and an IVF every three months in fall and winter instead.
If you go and get a pedicure at a good place it lasts 3-4 weeks too.
You must be really hairy if you need to sugar every 1-2 weeks, yikes!

More details on the full body sugaring please! Do you make your own scrub?
You can use wax to get rid of unwanted hair and dead skin from your body. I don't believe in using wax on your face because it pulls the facial skin. There are other ways to take care of facial hair and even groom eyebrows. I use three kinds of wax -
- Gigi Brazilian Hard wax for smaller areas like underarms and bikini. Use baby oil on the area before putting the wax and you need to pull the wax well before it hardens. I don't put it at an area larger than a square inch at a time. This is the trickiest and has the steepest learning curve. Lots of youtube videos and also lots of how-tos on Amazon reviews. It pulls out even tiniest of stubbles unlike the cold wax. I find that it does not pull out the skin as much either. You have to hold your skin taut before you pull and ypu have to work fast. If times correctly it is pretty painless. Most people let the wax harden and then it is quite painful.
- Cold wax. I use the cold wax by actually heating it and making it a maple syrup consistency. The skin needs to be clean and dry and you use baby powder to make it even drier. Spread with a spatula (I use a bread knife) in the direction of the hair. You use a cloth strip (available on Amazon) to press on top of the wax applied to the skin and pull opposite to the hair growth. Use this method for large areas like full arms and legs. It requires that the hair to be of a certain length. It removes dead and dry skin also. Careful waxing will not result in ingrown hair. I usually buy cold wax in plastic containers so that I can nuke it in a microwave. You can also use the Gigi warmer and warm up the ones that come in tin cans. Finally, if all else fails or if you make your own cold wax and store it in mason jars. I don't like using anything but linen strips.
- Sugar wax - does not require a cloth strip and basically you work a ball of caramelized sugar and stick it to your skin and pull out the hair. Unless you are an expert, this does not go very fast. BUT, this is excellent to touch up and maintain. I can run my fingers on my skin and figure out where unwanted hair is and just target those areas. There is no mess method and you can keep reusing the sugar ball for the entire body and then discard. Watch youtube videos of DIY Arabic Sugaring. Practice makes perfect and once you get the hang of it you will love how smooth and soft your skin feels. This also removes the dead and tanned skin.
Initially when you start waxing it takes a long time but with practice you can do it in 20-30 minutes. I can do DD's full legs, arms, underarms in 15 minutes.
