Alternate headline: “Montgomery County Republican sees no future for the GOP there, must run statewide”

p.s. Fetterman already beat this guy, in the 2018 LG race.

Fetterman isn’t a great choice. A lot of working class families struggling due to the Governor’s repeated shutdowns.

You don't know much about Fetterman, do you? He is a Pennsylvania champion for the working class. He came to Braddock, his home, which is suburb of Pittsburgh that was hard hit when the steel mills closed. He came to work with a non-profit. He was elected Mayor and started working to rebuild the community. He had family money and started buying closed businesses, buildings, homes, renovating them and then he started offering the renovated buildings for cheap rent to encourage folks to return to the area to help with the revitalization. He bought an old car dealership in a working class neighborhood that was dying and renovated it into his home. He and his wife stayed in the area and helped revitalize and get businesses to return to the area. When he became Lt Governor, he declined to move to the Lt Governor's mansion and stayed in their home, stayed supporting the area and helping the restoration of the community. Until the pandemic, they rented out the Lt Governor's mansion for large events.

Pennsylvanians know his story and the working class love what he's done for his community and the state. The working class don't blame him for their situation and they know that he has their interests at heart. He's spent the last 20 years showing with hard work, grit, and his own money he has rebuilt his part of the state and he'll stand up for the working class.

Oh, I know his story. I live in PA and his house is 20 minutes from mine. I also know A LOT of people that are pissed about what the Gov did, and he is associated with that. So unless you are from his town, he has no credibility with working class anymore.

Then Trump should have done a better job. Not Fetterman's fault.

That really doesn’t matter to voters who blame Gov Wolf.

Good. He would have a decent chance if the Party, state wide and particularly in Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati, can get behind him.

He is not retiring from the league for at least the next five years, but Lebron would be a great candidate. Unparralled name id, progressive values, popular.

Yeah, hes ranking member of the Judiciary commitee. With redistricting and gerrymandering this year, that Chairmanship is in reach. Why would he give it up for a junior senator seat in the minority.
