Agree with PPs who like Mindy and Gabriel far more than the lead. The actor playing Gabriel was asked something about fans in a recent interview and his self deprecating response was something about not having fans. Not any more, boy is his life about to change!

I love Hallmark movies and this is nothing like them. Hallmark is super cheesy but it's also 100% G rated. They hardly show any kissing and they don't even imply sex.

It’s mindless fluff - enjoyed it as such although I do agree it was overall weak. I loved seeing Paris though - the clothes, the food, the city!

I watchEd the whole thing in two days, went back-and-forth on trying to decide if it was dumb and irritating or a little more “meta“ than we were giving it credit for. I mean clearly the show appreciates how annoying she is in her American ignorance and yet she persists with being the “American point of view” which basically amounts to her Instagram skills. When her boss tries to get her to delete her account and she whines to her friend that she doesn’t know who she is in Paris without it I felt like OK the show knows what they’re doing here. Anyway it was pretty and that hot Gabriel just lit up the screen by doing nothing more than standing there so I happily watched it.

Her character is so, so annoying! Caught myself rolling my eyes, a couple of times, just like Sylvia.
Usually an American person would have a few cliches going on, but she has them all, except that she looks more French than American, which is absurd.
This could almost be kids show, lacks depth and it's so predictable and naive.

I guess I'm watching it because seeing so much Paris really brings joy.

I also loved seeing Paris.

Hence, I enjoyed it. I didn’t love the show, and it’s not something I would rewatch. But it was a fun series.

I do not watch hallmark.
