Depends who bought it and how clean it is. If mom and dad bought it and it’s a pigsty, that’s a huge turn-off.

Love a guy in his own vehicle.

Hate a guy who picks you up in his other girlfriend/ wife/ baby momma/ or mother's car.

Ha! When I started dating my wife I had a beater Toyota Corolla. I would not want a woman who expected anything different. In fact, if I could do it again I'd start with a bicycle as a test.

I once met a guy who was tall, handsome and fun. He asked me out and I of course couldn’t wait! He showed up at my place in an....old, rattling VW bug. I have never cared about money and know nothing about cars, but I literally considered breaking it off with this great guy because I couldn’t stand that rattling, noisy car.

I was impressed my husband owned his own car no loans. It was a 1998 civic died in 2018. Didn't like borrowed cars

Come on. After the first or second date, people no longer drive separately.

i have never been picked up for a date while dating in DC. We meet a the location via our own cars or Uber. Maybe this happens in the exburbs?

It won't be a stylish marriage
I can't afford a carriage
But you'll look sweet, upon the seat
Of a bicycle built for two

When I first started dating my husband he would pick me up in a nice Ford Escape SUV but on our fifth or sixth date he picked me up in a Maserati. When I asked him about it he said he drove the SUV instead of the Maserati because he didn't want me to think he was a big flaming a--hole. Now with three children the Maserati is long gone but he does drive a Porsche SUV. I drove the Maserati quite a bit and a blond driving a Maserati gets a lot of attention.

..so HE could fix it. Point is, it worked out despite his craptastic car.

Well I am in sales and travel a lot for work (outside of work) Going to a Tesla put an extra 1k -1300 in my pocket a month. Not my preferred choice of car but the economics
made sense.
Also in sales and seriously considering a Tesla. I frequently drive 200 miles a day. Not sure how it would come off to the customers but that's a small consideration.

PP here, I got a model 3 Dual Motor. I didn’t get an X or S as I didn’t want to give wrong impression to customers. My 3 was about half the price of the S and X.

Any kind of nice sedan works for me as I hate having to climb up into tank size SUV’s or squinch down into little sports cars. Also, no damn Big Mac wrappers on the floor. A nice clean sedan indicates he may not be a slob. But it’s not a guarantee.
