You can say all you want about Mad Lax and it’s owner however their college placement is 2nd no one.

Year in and year out, their teams develop kids and get kids recruited.

A lot of clubs in this area (other than Crabs) don’t even come close to their college placement.

This BLC thing will be a short term play. If all those kids aren't on the A team and coupled with the commute across the river as business restrictions ease, they will go running back to BLC by spring. Then there will be a whole new slew of derogatory back and forth emails to publish on TMZ.

More than a few. At least 18 for 2027, and at least 10 at 2028. Don't know about the other grades and it doesn't look like they will have orange teams for 2027 or 28 in the short term.

BLC has imploded.... Daddy ball politics has gotten in the way in a once well run organization.

Daddy coaches needs to stop across all clubs after 3rd or 4th grade regardless if the "Dad" coach knows the game or played in college.

I understand people don't like the owner of MadLax, but hard to argue the organization itself is 'terrible' when multiple dad coaches from different BLC years are abandoning ship and instead taking their own kids over to MadLax. Clearly something must have happened at BLC beyond kids not playing on turf (MadLax doesn't either). Does anyone know?

Bullis and Landon not able to allow the teams who rent their fields use them (though that may change soon). NL coaches work at the school where their teams practice and so, yes, during these months were/are able to access more and arguably better turf. Hopefully soon everyone will have their very special fields.

This is one of the reasons my son went from BLC—>NL. I think this is a what Separated Next Level from other programs this past year. They have extremely strong connections with local schools which allowed them to play on turf fields for the majority of quarantine. The Heights School was pretty much the only nice turf field in the area that remained open, and Next Level was able to use that field while BLC and Madlax were using public grass fields. We have only been a part of the NL community for a couple weeks, but I can already tell that we made the right decision.

My son is one of the players who left BLC for another program. Most of the families who left felt the BLC, as a club, wasn’t providing what their sons needed, like practice fields, specialized training, or organizational support for the teams. People weren’t leaving angry but they wanted something different.

It feels like things are getting back to normal when there is a Madlax thread to read!
