it's not "care so much", it's really more "fun trash talking our nearby neighbors". so, tell us, why does LMVSC keep postponing/rescheduling? btw "TBA/Unassigned" doesn't mean it's be rescheduled.
Yeah, fun to trash talk the kid's results.
You're a genius, you can read, it's already available on this thread if you want to know why games were postponed.
Enjoy your weekend, hopefully you don't trash talk your club's opponents as they walk off the field.
no it hasn't, somebody hinted at 'uniforms' but the league is allowing you to wear same color shirts. so, why do the games keep getting postponed/canceled?

Your club had the chance to drive 10 minutes to Alexandria and play in weekk 1 and bailed out on that. Beach FC is a club in the CCL lineup and apparently they came to you last year so its your turn to go to them. Given you your club didnt drive down route 1 to get to Alexandria I cant imagine you will drive down 95 to go to Beach so why worry.
This is TRAVEL soccer. The name kind of says it all. If you dont want to travel play SFL or one of the local rec leagues.
Please explain to me why parent bitch about travel to VA Beach one time every two years? They travel north to us every other year so it is exactly once every two years and if your club is doing their job they reach out to the other VA Beach area team and book them the same weekend just like my daughters club does.
and dont give me this COVID excuse. This is the same why do i have to travel you hear from the same parent type year after year.
Just to be clear its not a league issue its an LMVSC issue. Tell them to get their act together. maybe they can actually show up and play Northern VA teams in their own backyard instead of bailing out of those games
DP but the Alexandria game was rescheduled so it didn't completely bail. I just think the club wasn't ready especially with all the changes it has had. I think this was more on the administrative side. Also heard that some teams were still in the process of finalizing their rosters. It sucks but it's the reality of the club at the moment. They have to do better with what they got. I agree that there are some annoying parents with the "why drive 3 hours" excuse, it's what they signed up for. I think the VA Beach issue is more to do with concerns of Covid and that we were told that those games would be played at a neutral site. I don't care about the drive.
“Administrative side” = “LMVSC issues”.
“Still in process of finalizing rosters” = “LMVSC issues”
“Club wasn’t ready especially with all the changes” = “LMVSC issues”
It is safe to say that LB is fully responsible for the demise and the LMVSC issues that have been noted. Her email in late July/early August saying that July this year is actually May proves that she has no clue about the current climate. LB decided to remove 2 directors from the club prior to the season and clearly is not prepared for the administrative tasks that are necessary for running a club.
There are groups of players at practice but very little communication surrounding what team or league players will be playing. I left SYC because of the structure and how it was run under the leadership of JC. Sadly, LMVSC is moving toward the same structure JC ran at SYC and will drive families away due to the lack of planning and respect for others (ie. families, players and coaches). The reality is that LB has engaged in a bait and switch approach where the changes are occurring so close to the season that families are stuck with very few options. SHAMEFUL.
Dang LMVSC really tanked it. SYC is definitely the winner of the club wars. They have a partnership with the MLS Next Program and now with the Manassas soccer club. While some will see this as a waste ultimately it is going to generate revenue and make the club successful.
Got it TD/coach
Alexandria parent here. Yes that definitely might have been TD/coach, but lol LMVSC absolutely tanked.
Let's have everybody follow up with scores this weekend?
Why, does it make you feel better about where you are at? The organization currently has issues but for you to be worried about the team’s results is absurd. What is your goal here? A laugh at player’s expense. Move on!
Worried? No; what worries me is my club (Alexandria) pays CCL fees, just like your club does (LMVSC). And now your club (LMVSC) apparently keeps canceling games (Alexandria, Beach FC). Are you going to do the same against Arlington, SYC, DC Stoddert, etc?
For someone from Alexandria you seem to be really invested in lmvsc to have gone and looked up their schedule since you listed their opponents in the order they play.
that was the point, stable genius:
https://clubchampionsleague.com/schedules/ccl-schedules/
but why do you care so much to have gone and looked it up is what I ask. Why so invested in lmvsc results. If you are such a genius you could have scrolled down and seen that games against lmvsc are scheduled for November and not have said they were cancelled.
