I assume they split them up between rooms, and try all wore masks. I'm glad they held it. Scholarships are riding on geese exams.

Unfortunately, as usual, Prepscholar (which is just a third party website having no authority on anything whatsoever) is out of date. College Board changed the score released dates in late spring/early summer. The actual dates are here: https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/scores/getting-scores

Hey OP, can you answer the PP? Is your kid a junior who took a spot from a senior? I hope this is the end of the College Board and the SAT. I hope all the juniors who took these spots find their tests are worthless next year when all schools drop the test completely. Juniors do not need to be taking the test in August. OP, you are horrible.


My kid is in 8th grade and I dropped them off this morning. Sucks to be you if you couldn’t get your kid into a testing center.

DP. there's no reason for you to risk your 13 year old's health for a test that won't be relevant to him or her for four years. But keep telling yourself that other parents are the incompetent parents.


One - how do you know what is or isn’t relevant for MY kid.

Two - I would rather be a parent who decides what’s best for their kid and gets it done than a parent who expects other parents to sacrifice what they think is right for their kids because I’m unable to manage things for my own kid.


NP you are a selfish a@@. Older kids need the spots not your kid. Schools say they are test optional but it's a game. They say that because they know only the students will the top scores will report their scores. It allows them to increase their states to move them up the usnews rankings. SATs and ACT scores still matter and make a differrence.

No, sorry, there is a misunderstanding. The registration deadline for Sept was Aug 26, late deadline Sept 15. You cannot wait for Aug before registering for the Sept test date only 4 weeks later. Even under normal circumstances, there isn't enough time between test dates that are so close together.

When my kid took it in June 2019 there was about a 5 week or longer gap between the test and the score.
