I’ve never owned a gun. However, I feel it is becoming a rather impeding necessity. Wouldn’t want a looter and/or rioter, or simply a criminal of any sorts, to try to take away my family of household.

Should I purchase a pistol (beretta, colt, glock, desert eagle, Smith n wesson, sig sauer, P99) or a shotgun (mossberg 500, franchi spas 12, Remington 370 tactical, benelli m4)

6 guns total (5 handguns, 1 deer rifle). All registered. My DH and I both have Safe Shooter and Defensive Shooter certs. Guns in 5’ x 3’ locking biometric gun safe. (Yes it’s a huge, 780 pound safe but we also store valuables and documents in it ). 14 year old DS will also be trained for a Safe Shooter cert. Smart people know how/when to use and safely store guns. It’s the idiots we should be afraid of.

I saw an ahole with a guns saves lives t shirt in my neighborhood. I don’t usually go off on people, but that was triggering to me. Get the joke. I don’t want you nazi rednecks in my neighborhood. Stay in VA and MD, fine.

That said I’ll bite. People with “arsenals” will never reveal they have them. They will keep them. In many states nobody needs to know you have guns. Especially when inherited. In some states lots of people have lots of guns. We don’t see that in DC.
