This is something most women realize in middle school. Someone is always richer or better looking or smarter than we are.

Ha ha. Are you serious? Even if you're pretty as a woman, it is constant pressure to stay skinny, wrinkle-free, attractive. Pressure until the grave.

Welcome to the world of most women. It was painful to notice and realized this in high school and college. It was glaringly obvious all of my twenties and when people had relationships and started getting married. I attended one of the ivies, and all the guys would first choose based on the girl's physical attractiveness first. They wanted smart or smart enough, but not if the girl wasn't pretty first. [/quote
If she was in an Ivy to begin with, she was smart.
They then wanted other winning genetic traits: fertility (shape based), attractiveness, personality and athleticism.
I am very attractive, but also very smart (STEM grad degree). I had the issue of being taken seriously initially in a male-dominated field and by some old-school professors.
Total package is what wins out for a married partner. Looks for casual dating/hookups.
