Honestly in high school I hated it and spent way to much time slumped over. (I was also skinny as a rail).
I played sports in high school and college, but it wasn't until I finally filled out a little bit in my early 20's that I finally got comfortable.
It was be a pain in the ass at times (flights, clothes) but overall I am very glad I am so tall.
But honestly anything over 6'5" would suck.

My height is a problem EVERY SINGLE DAY because the typical height at which they hang kitchen cabinets means I can't reach further than the bottom shelf. I can't chop things on the counter or stir things on the stove for a long time without having to lift my shoulder above a comfortable height, and over time I've developed repetitive stress injury from other similar tasks. And I can't reach the top shelf in most grocery stores, I often have to ask random strangers to get things down for me.
Being short is literally a pain, so yes, I hope my kids are taller! At least close to average height!
NP adding in that buying clothes is a pain, even petites are too long and you need to be a seamstress, or have the money to pay one, for clothes to be decently-fitting.
Additionally, driving. In a regular 4-door sedan, like a Honda Accord, I sit there feeling submerged. Took me a while to find a car that was a good size for my family, and that I was comfortable driving. The other car issue is a safety one, if you have to move the seat up in order to reach pedals, you may be too close to the air bag.
You need to add a driving pillow under your butt. You need to be able to see the tip of your car front, in order to be driving safely.

This comes across as so so shallow. You had a “minimum requirement” for height? I would love to see you other requirements. Also, you didn’t marry 6’3”. You married a person, but I’m sure he would live being reduced to a statistic. Gross.

I have always preferred shorter guys, not sure why but have some theories. My dad is 5'8.5", but really that's within the fat part of the bell curve for "average" in the US.
