That’s because your child will be DL.
Jealous you don't make that much?

FWIW, the neighborhoods that feed into Einstein are a mix of professional and working class. I have heard only good things about the school.
There are many of us Einstein/DCC parents here on DCUM. We try to give our first-hand perspectives whenever we can. You just need to sift through the threads to find the helpful nuggets from people who have experience in the schools and neighborhoods.
Honest Question. Why should we trust someone who is incentivized to rationalize why they send their kids so such a lowly rated school? Do you know much about the better schools ?

This is what the OP asked: "What do people like and not like about it? Please only from parents who actually have experience or have friends with kids there." I'm just trying to answer the OP's question. I'm sorry you think I'm not to be trusted. I would trust feedback from people with first-hand experiences more than school ratings websites.
OP’s question was stupid. What did she except? “Oh, my kid goes there and it’s a really crappy school” response?

She rejected the intense IB cohort but is in those classes and does fine. Science has been across the board awful. Math is a mixed bag. History and English and music and art are great. Nice parent community. Kids go to good schools after. Kids are friends across socioeconomic and ethnic lines, which is so great (if your friend spends her weekends helping her mom clean houses, it puts your desire for a beach weekend/IPhone 11 etc into perspective without me saying a word). Overall we’ve been v happy there, but probably wouldn’t send a math science loving kid there if I could lottery elsewhere. HTH.

Honors English is really not an advanced class, and students who'd benefit from a more challenging English class have better options all four years at Einstein. For 11th and 12th, some of the Pre-IB students continue in IB classes, while others take AP Lang and Lit.
