I know. What’s going on with the site? If lacrosse parent has their kids out there...playing tournaments...why is soccer parent not demanding tournaments??

First, these teams already paid to do the 2020 JefCup, which was cancelled. The option now is not to do the kick off and have that money go to waste or do the kick-off even if the competition is not on the same level of JefCup. JefCup is not returning the entry fee. Second, kids have not played soccer since early March. Who knows when they will get the chance to play again or if this tournament will even taken place. Do you play now, even though the competition is not the same as JefCup or do you take your chances and reject the Kick off and wait until leagues start? DD's club is playing at the Kick off. The competition is actually pretty good and is spread out. Outside of Bethesda and JefCup, most tournaments would have similar placement.
So I don't understand the moronic comments. This is an opportunity to play against solid competition but no one is saying this is ECNL Nationals. This is a local tournament with strong local teams. .
Exactly.
Its a tournament to play. to get some field time. Possibly before everything is shut down all over again.
