Wow. Really sad. This makes me feel sad for the wonderful coaches I took classes from, pre-covid.

I just want a sweatlana for home use and I’ll be all good. Can’t return to small indoor exercise classes. Not safe.

Truthfully, it was one of the suggestions I made on the survey - particularly since the classes were usually only half filled anyway. Don’t know that it will change my mind. I’ve fallen out of the habit of paying so much $ for fitness.

At this point, it's about the company overall and their appalling handling of this situation. What would change my mind is completely new leadership, and the pandemic being over (or much better contained than it is now).

Hmm... I thought the mandatory masks and half capacity classes would be enough to get me back but I keep hearing how covid transmits most easily in small enclosed places if you are near others for more than a short period of time. So — even if things can be cleaner it’s the environment itself that is making me feel it’s not worth the risk.

The half-capacity classes are definitely "safer" (at least it feels that way), but the wipes available are almost always dried out. It takes a while to get used to wearing a mask but it's not that bad. They usually take temps before class but I've noticed at least once in the past few weeks that the instructor forgot. Not sure how we will know when they've replaced the air filters...

Lack of germs is pretty impossible to see with the naked eye (or at all-how can you see something that's not there?) so I'm just assuming the worst and taking my own precautions/limiting studio exposure.

They also keep saying they are following governmental regulations, which they are not. 10 feet between participants is not achieved by turning the machines around and keeping the class at full capacity. *Every* class needs to be at half capacity.

Wearing the mask in class is unpleasant, but from what I've observed people are complying with that completely. Not that I can see everyone all the time.

Is that still how solidcore is still doing the cleaning between classes? Because that is definitely not sufficient.
I really miss solidcore but would find it very difficult to complete a class while wearing a mask. I can barely get through a class without a mask! It's such an intense workout in such a small space. I miss solidcore and hope they (or someone like them) will be around when the pandemic is over.

I would like to go back but among everything else I don’t trust the cleanliness of everything. I taught in a Pilates studio and was responsible for cleaning/sanitizing the machines between clients. It took me a good 15 mins to clean 4 machines well. I don’t think having the clients do a wipe down with those little wipes is sufficient. It’s too bad — they could have handled this much better from the start.

I was willing to give it a chance because I miss and love the workout. But maybe I’m going to need to wait until a vaccine is available. I haven’t heard anyone over the age of 30 share a positive experience...a little unnerving

I would not be able to keep a mask on during the entire class, there is not enough ventilation in the rooms and I don't trust that people would even wear their masks properly. I also don't think the machines are properly cleaned.

I miss Solidcore. I hope they can find a way to make it work, but I don't see them making a true effort. It's all the bare minimum that they can get away with. I've lost all faith they can do this right, so I'm out.

I just don't see the point. Wearing masks while working out that intensely sucks, half-full classes are so much less fun than full ones, and their senior leadership treats their coaches like garbage.

That's exactly why they announced it and are trying to make it seem like they are doing this to be proactive.

Truth is, their classes are already half empty because no one in their right mind would trust them based on the horrible way they've handled their business model during this pandemic.
