Today I went for a 10 mile walk/run in Alexandria & Arlington. I was amazed at how few people were wearing masks (both runners and walkers). I saw far more discarded scooters than masked pedestrians on the trails. It was great! I'm so proud of you people who are finally realizing that there is no risk in passing a person briefly!
People didn't even do the idiotic "pull up mask/buff" thing - I was so proud of you all!
Sadly, the MAMILs are still aplenty. Still... there is progress on the trails.

53% mask usage
48 wearing out of 91 counted.

I want to but am non-confrontational. The people in my otherwise pretty friendly, progressive neighborhood are still nutso over masks at all times. I’ve even been yelled at for waiting to pull up my mask while running until I saw someone approaching from the other direction on the trail. Like I was literally 20+ feet away when I pulled it up.
