Biden’s 3.5 Trillion $ spending bill will just make inflation go up. Prices are rising on EVERYTHING.

It is crazy, but it's in line with the quote we had for a similar sized porch this time last year. We bit the bullet and it was worth every penny.

Many of my neighbors spray for mosquitoes, which is awful. We have practically none, but thanks to our neighbors are bathing in earth destroying cancer causing pesticides.

New PP.Wondering the same.

They should be throwing down fabric and gravel on top

That's a really good price.

the trex deck was going to be 10 grand. We did it for $500 with wood.

Composite is twice the cost of pressure treated wood or sometimes a bit more. But it's not 20x more. Did you do the deck yourself?

We bought our older house with an attached screened-in porch. I have breakfast there in the morning every day of the year.

We installed a Home Depot fan that is plenty strong for the summer. We reverse it when the weather gets colder. We had a handy man install EZ Breeze windows for a total cost of less than $5000. With a simple plug in heater it is warm enough to enjoy the porch throughout winter--at least for an hour or two.

We sit on ours after dinner. Put up good ceiling fans.

We use our screened-in porch every day. We have a great ceiling fan and every morning I sit out there with coffee and my iPad, listening to the birds and enjoying the breeze.

We use it from March or April until October or so every year.

Agree. If you have a good ceiling fan and you’re in the shade, it can be comfortable into the lower 90’s (heat index matters here — mid 90’s if it’s low humidity). And I’m a total wimp about heat.
