Grandparents periodically showing up with some of the toys the kids usually play with at their house. Also, last year's impulse trampoline purchase is paying dividends. The giant sandbox is maintains its position as a centerpiece of the kid's outdoor play.

We regularly meeting another couple of families in a cul de sac. The kids ride bikes, play distance games like 'Red Light, Green Light' and 'Simon Says', and get periodically yelled at to keep their distance from one another.

God, nothing. We are a hot mess. Too much screen time, too much junk food, too little cleaning. I am struggling. No wine because I'm already exhausted.

Our sunroom, the yard, neighborhood walks, bike rides, having neighbors we are close with that we can just chat with from a distance. Being able to have chrome books for both kids to do their work, having great internet access so we can all work/school, planning some special meals, our cat.

I never much liked walking before this, but twice-daily walks have definitely kept me sane during all this. it's a nice time to catch up with my daughter too. We go at 12 and 6 to give us both a break from our work.

Also gardening. I made a couple of (masked) trips to Home Depot early in quarantine and bought grass seed, mulch and flowers. Most of the time in the spring, I'm really busy with kid activities in the evenings and weekends so I have limited time to do gardening stuff. It's nice to have a little more time.
